In the cross-Government strategy ‘Building a Society for All Ages’ www.hmg.gov.uk/buildingasocietyforallages the Government committed to working with local authorities to use smart card technology to provide all-in-one cards. This event aims to showcase current good practice, and promote the use of smart cards, whilst consulting with partners on other good practice and areas of concern. 

The event is being held on: Wednesday 3rd March 2010, between 9.30am – 4pm in the Ashes Suite, The Brit Oval, Kennington, London, SE11 5SS.

Speakers will include Directors from DWP, and local authorities who are developing Smart card initiatives. There will be opportunities to hear more about the strategy, current technology and other initiatives.
